Snacks
Parents must provide a snack for children who are present in the morning and in the afternoon
During PD days, parents must also provide lunch.
Subsidies
The Affordability Grant
Allocated based on the child’s age and automatically deducted from the monthly fees (Reduction column) in the table of fees.
The amount of the Affordability Grant is decided by the government. This is offered based on the number of days registered and the payable fees. A child registered part-time therefore benefits from the part-time Affordability Grant while a child registered full-time benefits from the full-time Affordability Grant.
This is not based on the number of hours the child is in the program but based on the number of days per week, and therefore the payable fees. Please refer to the fees table below to know what is considered full- and part-time.
Additional family subsidy
Starting in February 2025, the Government of Alberta will abolish the family subsidy for children registered in daycare (0 to 5 years). Going forward, only school-aged children (registered to the out-of-school program) will be admissible for a family subsidy.
To receive the additional family subsidy, the family must apply online once their registration is confirmed. See below for more information. The subsidy is based on the family’s annual revenue, the parents’ situation and the number of hours completed in the center.
The amount offered for this is not fixed as it is based on the child’s attendance which is declared to the government each month, pulled from the hours entered in the center’s attendance tracking system.
ATTENTION, in your application, you must enter the official program name of the program your child is registered in along with the program number. You will find this information in your respective program’s section below.
***It is very important to enter the correct information for each child, otherwise your child may not be declared in the correct program and adjustments will have to be made, which risks lengthening the process.***

Fees
Child registered to kindergarten
- 451 $ per month
Child registered in 1st to 6th grade
- 398 $ per month
CEPP Père-Lacombe (only)
- Kindergarten – Mornings only: 191 $ per month
- Kindergarten – Evenings only: 281 $ per month
- 1st to 6th grade – Mornings only: 170 $ per month
- 1st to 6th grade – Evenings only: 249 $ per month
PD Days (all-day service)
- 25 $ (per child, per day) for children enrolled in the out-of-school program
- 35 $ (per child, per day) for children not enrolled in the out-of-school program
- CEPP Père-Lacombe : This year (2024-2025), during PD Days, the children at CEPP Père-Lacombe will be redirected to CEPP À La Découverte. The Père-Lacombe centre will therefore be closed during PD Days.

Lateness fee
In the case of parents who arrive late after opening hours, a fee of 1$ per minute late will be billed and payable on the next invoice.
