Parents Welcome
The Centre d’expérience préscolaire et parascolaire (CEPP) could not function without the active participation of parents. Parents are always welcome in the centre and we encourage you to offer workshops, lead group activities, accompany us on excursions to help supervise the children, and any other type of contribution.
Please don’t hesitate to ask your coordinator how you can get more involved!
CEPP Casino
Once every two years, the CEPP must recruit volunteers to occupy positions within a casino for two nights. This program brings in significant and important funds for the CEPP and we cannot do it without your help! You do not have to be a member of CEPP to participate, and the generous donation of your time will be rewarded with a free meal from the casino restaurant during each of your shifts.
Your participation is therefore greatly appreciated.
Parents’ Committee
The parents’ committee is the CEPP’s board of directors, which is composed of volunteers. Each year during AGM, CEPP members may submit their candidacy to be elected as a director by the membership. Executive positions are assigned during the first parents’ committee meeting after the AGM. Parents may attend committee meetings at any time and have the right to speak, but only elected directors have the right to vote on motions. No prior experience is necessary and everyone is welcome!
